sara seeton is an on-location, natural light modern lifestyle and portrait photographer. Sara specializes in maternity, newborn, baby, child, family and high school senior photography in the dallas fort worth area.
i have had a lot of repeat clients this fall + i’m loving it! these clients are no exception. i had fun meeting up with them in houston last year while i was in town for a marathon of sessions. this year, lisa wanted to do a mother/son session to surprise her husband with photos + she drove 2 hours to meet me. look at what a handsome young boy her son is turning into!

if you follow my blog, you might recognize this couple from last year + maybe even the year before! i’ve been photographing them from the very beginning of my photography career….they were even the first ones to allow me to photograph them back in my portfolio building days. want to take a look back? click here for last year’s session + if you keep scrolling down you’ll also see their very first session from before i even started my business. it’s been so much fun to capture them every year + i’m SO excited because their family is growing, which means more photos sessions are in store for this gorgeous family! they are expecting their first child, a baby girl, at the end of march. bb + c, we are so lucky to have you as our dear friends. we love you + couldn’t be more thrilled for you both!

it’s hard to believe that 6 months has come + gone since i first photographed this cutie. there’s no doubt where she gets her good looks from….take a look at mom + dad! madelyn was such a champ at her session….sitting up on her own + full of smiles + giggles. i can’t wait to see her again when she turns one! there’s just something about capturing little ones grow…it tugs at my heart watching them hit each milestone + seeing their little personality develop. i seriously have the best job in the world.

remember this gorgeous momma-to-be? meet her handsome little guy, jackson. he came a month early, weighing in at just over 5 pounds. the mom + dad waited to find out the gender, so it was very exciting waiting for their text message to find out they had a healthy baby BOY! i’ve had so much fun working with this family + look forward to seeing them again throughout jackson’s first year.
these are absolutely perfect! LOVE the little butt with the legs up on the bed…it’s my fave! they are all so sweet

it is such a huge compliment when a client stays loyal to you + comes to you for all their photography needs. custom photography is more than just taking pictures. it’s about finding a photographer who you can build a relationship with….someone who you can feel comfortable with + trust enough to document all the important moments in your life. i’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family 3 times in the past year + it is the most awesome thing to watch them grow as a family. look at how little scarlett was just one year ago at 9 months old! then here again at her 1 year session. it was so much fun seeing this fun family again + i’ve really enjoyed watching scarlett grow into a gorgeous, intelligent little girl. i hope to document many more sessions with this gorgeous family in the years to come.
Aside from my session with you this is by far my favorite, fabulous job!
