i can’t tell you how many fellow photographers i’ve photographed this year….lots! it’s always very flattering when another photographer chooses you to document their sweet little family. especially when they drive all the way in from out of town! talk about pressure!! i’ve known this sweet talented girl elisabeth ross for a few years now through the online photography world….so it was great to finally be able to meet her in person.
i did it again….i’ve neglected my blog. i used to be so good about blogging every single session in a timely manner. but i’ll admit, finding that perfect balance between work + family is a difficult thing! i find myself picking + choosing….unfortunately blogging is not at the top of my priority list, so it doesn’t get done as often as it should. aside from photography, i also do branding/logo design, freelancing for american greetings, i’m working on releasing a set of film-inspired presets for acr + lightroom, will be launching christmas card templates shortly, i’m now offering online + in-person mentoring as well as a possibility of group workshops, and…oh yeah…did i mention i’m also a mom of 3 amazing little kiddos? i am nearly completely booked for the rest of 2014 + i am fearing the fall season just a little bit! between my husband working full-time + taking classes for his PhD, and my kiddos in sports, i feel like i am slowly sinking! the thought of hiring an assistant or intern has actually crossed my mind…..so if you know of anyone who might be interested, please have them contact me!
anyways, enough with the boring stuff….here’s a session of an adorable family from the spring that’s been waiting to be blogged! more sessions to come….at some point!
gorgeous family? check. great wardrobe? check. awesome backyard location? check. sparkly bokeh? check. cooperative children? check. yup. this session was perfection, from beginning to end. and yet another session with a fellow local photographer, sabrina from sabrina gebhardt photography. i think about 90% of my sessions in the past 2 months has been for fellow photographers! and i am loving it!
